At The Cottages at Woodland Terrace, our mission is to provide care and services to senior adults in a home-like residential environment. At all times, our staff has the needs of our residents foremost in mind and we always involve our residents’ family and friends. The assisted living suites at the Main Cottage are designed to encourage independence and preserve dignity. We protect privacy, foster individuality, and nurture the spirit.
We have taken great care to develop a welcoming environment at the Main Cottage, which is used as our central gathering point for our entire community of both independent and assisted living residents. An active social calendar is set forth monthly to allow all residents the option of staying as busy as they like.
The spacious suites are great for having a neighbor in for a cup of coffee and a chat. Each suite has a living room, bedroom, large bathroom, and a walk-in closet. There is a foyer as one walks into the suite, and there is a kitchenette off to one side which contains a built-in microwave and refrigerator (with a freezer for those late night bowls of ice cream!)”
Our residents don’t have to worry about cooking their own meals because breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in our main dining room. If our residents wish to have a private meal with friends and family, they can reserve the adjacent private dining room.
The assisted living suites are designed to maximize independence and minimize hassle for our residents. Each room is equipped with an individual thermostat as well as a sprinkler system and smoke detector. Our staff takes care of housekeeping and laundry. The floor plans are spacious, ranging in size from a (370 sq. ft.) studio to a (797 sq. ft.) two-bedroom deluxe. The companion suites ensure that couples can stay together even when the need for personal care arises.
